According to the forecast of experts to IDC, IT costs of small and medium-sized businesses in the coming years will grow by 4 2% per year. Given that this year, these costs amount to 564 billion dollars, which means that in 2020 they reached 668 billion dollars.

The bulk of the expenditure is distributed roughly equally among the three main items: hardware, software, and services. Total expenditure on these three items exceed 85% of the total. Note that the hardware has to still somewhat higher than in the other articles, but the lowest growth rate in this segment is forecast – 1.1% per year. At the same time, for example, the cost of the software, according to analysts, will grow by 6.6% per year, that is, faster than the industry as a whole.

For SME IDC analysts attribute the company with fewer than 1,000 people.
