On Tuesday (19), Serasa Experian opened registration for its first hackathon open to external participants. The programming marathon will take place on 5 and 6 November at the company’s headquarters in São Paulo.
Among the entries will be selected 80 participants to solve challenges focused on products and services to consumers. The awards totaled R $ 30,000 (R $ 10,000 for each of the three challenges). The challenges will be divided into:
- New Products : create new products and services Serasa Experian for consumers
- Application : proposals to promote the daily use of SerasaConsumidor application, with the creation of new features.
- Financial Education : develop a game whose purpose is to promote the financial education of players
Registration for the marathon, called Experiance Jam may be held until October 28 through event website . Participants can register individually or in teams. Trained teams must have 5 to 10 participants, indicated at least two developers and UX designer in the composition of the team. technical and behavioral information entered at registration will be analyzed.
In May this year, Serasa organized an internal hackathon, with the participation of about 100 employees. “The good results obtained in the pilot, which had the participation of employees only, motivated us to organize the first open Experiance Jam to the general public,” explains the director of the innovation lab (DataLab) Marcelo Pimenta.
About Experiance Jam 2
The Experiance Jam consists of a dedicated marathon to solving specific and specific problems of Serasa to be presented to the participants, gathering anxious minds to work in teams, for hours, in one cool and productive environment. Starting at 9 am on November 5, 2016, participants will have 33 hours followed to develop a solution to the challenges posed.
