Honda has announced the immediate availability of the first in Europe Clarity Fuel Cell Car power plant which is made on the hydrogen fuel cell.

Honda Clarity Fuel Cell calls the first car in its class, designed for five passengers. The space in the cabin could increase by optimizing the design of the fuel cell and power: their size is reduced to a size comparable to a V6 engine

The power plant produces a maximum power of 130 kW; torque is 300 Nm. According to estimates, Clarity Fuel Cell is able to travel 589 kilometers without refueling, and a conditional discharge, an equivalent gasoline engine is 3.4 liters per 100 km.

The car has received 18-inch aluminum wheels with unique design, media system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a wide range of security features, including adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance system and vanishing from the road.

reported that in Europe six copies Clarity Fuel Cell will be tested clients in London and Copenhagen as part of a demonstration tour organized project HyFIVE (includes co-operation with other manufacturers to promote the development of hydrogen vehicles).

Developing and bringing to Clarity Fuel Cell market is an important step in Honda concept, which provides that by 2030 two-thirds of worldwide sales of the brand will fall on vehicles running on alternative fuels.
