The second edition of the São Paulo Tech Week, which takes place 5-13 November has ambitious goals: to open the doors of the state capital for hub global innovation and give visibility to companies and disruptive solutions that will write the history of the coming years. Will be held over 200 events focused on the future of technology, making the week on a business-generating platform, display of products and innovative services and training new talent.

The capital was elected by Enterprising City Index as the best city to undertake in Brazil, since it has a highly connected population to Internet and love with new technologies. São Paulo also has dozens of startup hubs (such as Google Campus, Cube and Oxygen Accelerator), several consolidated accelerator in addition to the performance of international risk capital funds. Companies like Facebook, Uber, Airbnb, Spotify, among many others have offices in the metropolis. There are also Brazilian startups success, as clickbus, GetNinjas, VTEX, Nubank, Kekanto and Easy Taxi.

The first edition of São Paulo Tech Week took place in 2015 and has attracted more than 25 thousand people. At this year are expected to more than 50,000 visitors who will have the opportunity to see various attractions on what promises to be the future, making the city the stage for experimentation with new technologies. There will be a virtual reality station, weareables parade and even a race of drones. Large companies such as Samsung , Embraer and Totvs, will also be present.

A series of events will bring discussions on innovation and entrepreneurship in technology. Among them is the CASE (Annual Conference of Startups and Entrepreneurship), which is expected to attract more than 6,000 participants in an event with 54 keynotes, speakers and cases show divided into tracks to meet the various stages of maturity of a startup. The Venture Capital Expo will also bring together more than 2 000 people to discuss business between startups and investors.

São Paulo also will host the 4th edition of the IT Forum Expo, which will include more than 40 sponsors, 100 speakers and is expected to gather more than 4,000 IT professionals in an environment for content generation, relationship and business. Among the attractions already confirmed in São Paulo Tech Week are Fintech Summit, Wereable Festival, Smart Cities Conference, You! Summit, NanoTradeShow, Corporate Venture Day and BIN @ SP.
