Samsung has announced a new version of its tablet based on Windows 10. Gold Edition of TabPro Galaxy S does not differ from the previous model only for the gold color of the frame, but also to the hardware equipment. The Korean manufacturer has in fact doubled RAM and storage in order to improve multitasking and increase the available space for personal content. The tablet is already on sale in the United States. It is not known if and when it will arrive in Italy.

The TabPro Galaxy S presented at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, and available in our country April belongs to the category of tablet 2-in-1, or tablet that can becoming notebook by connecting the keyboard / cover. TabPro the Galaxy S does not offer the same flexibility of Surface Pro 4 because the keyboard allows you to tilt the screen only in two positions (35 and 65 degrees). The coupling is via a magnetic connector.

The Gold Edition has 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. All other specifications remain unchanged: Super AMOLED screen 12-inch with a resolution of 2160 × 1440 pixels, dual-core processor Intel Core m3-6Y30 to 2.2 GHz, 5-megapixel cameras, USB 3.1 Type -C, 802.11ac WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. There are also microphone, speaker, 3.5-mm audio jack and three sensors (accelerometer, ambient light and Hall effect).

The 5,200 mAh battery provides a maximum range of 10.5 hours and can be charged in 2.5 hours, thanks to Fast Charge. Samsung offers two accessories, a multiport adapter ($ 89.99) with HDMI and USB Type-A, and TabPro Stylus Pen ($ 79.99). The operating system is Windows 10. The tablet is priced at $ 999.99.
