Earlier this year, Samsung has launched a new hybrid 2-in-1 with Windows 10, high-resolution display, keyboard dock and support for the S-Pen (optional). His name is Samsung Galaxy S TabPro and is now on sale (even) in Italy at the starting price of 750 €, with an Intel Core m3 (Skylake) processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage disk SSD, although it cost to launch no less than EUR 1 100 (WiFi-only) and 1300 € (LTE) . But recently the Korean company has updated the technical specifications of the tablet. And not only.
For $ 999, pretty much the same price as the old model to the launch, the new Samsung Galaxy S TabPro Gold Edition retains the hardware platform by adding more RAM and storage space, to speed up the multitasking, running heavier applications and store more data.
In essence, yet incorporates a Intel Core m3-6Y30 (Skylake) with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory alongside the beautiful 12-inch display Super AMOLED (2160 x 1440 pixels), in a chassis with a thickness of 6.3 mm and weight of only 693 grams. Connectivity uses a form MIMO 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi Direct, NFC, LTE Cat 6 modem (optional) and lacks GPS and GLONASS, accelerometer and ambient light sensor as well as a port USB Type -C. A data-sheet closes with two cameras 5MP AF (back) and 5 megapixel (front), and a 5200 mAh Battery (39.5W), which supports rapid charge (2.5 hours for a full charge) and provides a range of 10.5 hours. In short, nothing new.
As suggested by its name, however, its data sheet is not the only one to have suffered a ritocchino: Samsung Galaxy S TabPro Gold Edition is different from the cheaper versions, which are likely to remain still on the list, for a frame gold color combined with a keyboard dock to match . I wonder if this model will arrive in our country.
