The Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm moved away from the use of ARM cores in favor of its own design Kryo, thus proving that the number of cores in the processor is not the main parameter. Together with the graphics accelerator Adreno 530 Snapdragon processor 820 and Snapdragon 821 new compression algorithms are used, which can save up to 40% of the bandwidth depending on the task. In addition, Qualcomm’s chipset uses these modems Snapdragon X12, allowing to download data at speeds up to 600 Mbit / s, which is the best in the class.
