The release of the Fujifilm instax Square instant press became known back in September of last year, and now live images of the device appeared on the web. It is interesting that the images in no way are a leak – they are published in Instagram on the page of Instax Square.
The camera will be called Fujifilm Instax Square SQ10, and it will not become an instant photo camera in its pure form There will be built-in flash memory for storing pictures. This is convenient in the case if you still want to take a photo, and the cassettes with photo paper have run out. For Fujifilm, this is not the first experience of such a camera: in 1999 Fujifilm Finepix PR21 came out – a digital camera with an image sensor of 2.3 Mp, an integrated color printer and a slot for SmartMedia memory cards. In the photo below, you can just compare these two models.
However, Instax Square is not just a camera, but a whole series. Instax Square SQ10 will be released together with Instax Square SQ, the fragment of which is also published on the Instax Square page.
Fujifilm promises to present Instax Square "in the spring of 2017".
