About six months ago, Nokia had announced signing of an agreement with HMD Global and FIH Mobile (a subsidiary of Foxconn) for the sale in license to use the famous brand. The Finnish company’s feature phones are still very popular, especially in emerging countries, and HMD will continue to offer them to consumers. Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia will receive from HMD to pay a royalty for each device sold. The sum will cover the use of the brand and intellectual property.
