Microsoft introduces the real-time collaboration in PowerPoint desktop


Through its official blog, Microsoft announced a new and important features to the desktop version of the Office suite that will further boost the shared projects with other co-workers.

Starting with the new version, in fact, all users with a subscription to Office 365 subscribers Insider program can take advantage of co-authoring document in PowerPoint function 2016 to display live changes made to the content shared by each user, as they are inserted.

With the new update in addition, Microsoft also introduce the possibility of receiving notifications in the Android and iOS versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to alert you of an activity taking place on shared documents on the cloud .

The notifications enable therefore not only of keep an eye on the changes even when you are away from your PC or document, but also of interact in a more immediate way with their employees, always staying in touch and intervening when it is actually needed .

For this new feature, users must be part of the Insider program and wait for the updates that arrive in December for the first version of iOS and then Android for that.
