The company MediaTek, reported online sources, expanded family of mobile processors, announcing a “system on a chip »Helio P15.
The new product will be manufactured on 28-nanometer technology in the enterprise Taiwanese giant TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company).
The structure includes eight processor cores ARM Cortex-A53 processor with a clock frequency of up to 2.2GHz. Graphics processing deals with integrated controller Mali-T860 MP2 frequencies up to 800 MHz.
The chip supports RAM LPDDR3-933. Furthermore, part of the modem processor, which supports all the basic frequency ranges LTE and LTE Cat.6 standard.
argued that the new product provides a 10 percent performance increase compared with the decision of Helio P10. The latter consists of eight 64-bit cores ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at up to 2.0 GHz, and graphics controller ARM Mali-T860 with a frequency of 700 MHz.
On the timing of appearance of the first mobile devices based on Helio P15, unfortunately, it is not reported.
