Features of iPhones copied from Android smartphones, features of Android copied from iPhones: over the years we have seen all sorts of them, but usually the copy-paste concerned "winning" features; those of Huawei however, may have decided to "copy" a detail not really loved by everyone: the notch of iPhone X realizing something similar in the their new Huawei P11.
Huawei P11 – if that is what it is called – it should be the future flagship of the Chinese giant, which should be unveiled in the first few months of 2018; XDA would have managed to get their hands on the firmware of this new smartphone, becoming aware of different information on the new Huawei device: we talk about the technical card and some special features as for the precisely the black bezel at the top of the display.
To support the presence of a borderless display and the existence of a notch in full style iPhone X there would be not only some configuration files, with a lot of possible size, but also an overlay image that in addition to describing the rounded edges shows a dark central part.
Files may currently be needed internally by Huawei to simulate the appearance and interface of the future flagship, probably still under development; another particular aspect of Huawei P11 and that seems to let think about the presence of a notch is the resolution of the screen: the smartphone should indeed have a display from 6.01 inches Samsung LCD EA8074 CMD TFT resolution 2160 × 1080 pixels, but according to the configuration files the resolution should be of 2244 × 1080 pixels.
Speaking of technical specifications, Huawei P11 should mount a SoC HiSilicon Kirin 970 (the same as Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Honor V10 ) ; present the latest version of Android or Android 8.0 Oreo customized with a new and unprecedented version of the EMUI (8.0.1), and would not lack the support to Easy Projection and all ' USB 3.1 through the USB Type-C port.
Last information concerns the code name of Huawei P11, called Emily ; the smartphone should arrive in different variants (EML-AL00, EML-L09, EML-L29 and EML-TL00) but we do not know the differences for the moment.
All that remains is to wait to learn more about the future Huawei P11 .
