Along with the new smartphone Honor 6X Huawei announced two other devices: Honor Pad 2 and Honor Watch S1 . The first is an 8-inch tablet, while the second is a smartwatch for the fitness with circular dial. Both products can be ordered on October 19 and purchased in China on 25 October.
The Honor Pad tablet has a 2 8-inch IPS screen with 1920 × 1200 pixels resolution, then with 16:10 aspect ratio. The hardware includes an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor at 1.4 GHz, supported by 3 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB flash memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 128 GB. For the two cameras were chosen by 8:02 megapixel sensor, while connectivity is provided by the WiFi module 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Also available is a version with LTE chip for voice calls. The battery has a capacity of 4,800 mAh. The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1.
Honor Watch S1 is instead a fitness watch with 1.04-inch display (208 × 208 pixels and a diameter of 26.3 mm). The watch is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters, it weighs 35 grams and incorporates a sensor for recording heartbeats. The features are similar to those of similar products, then you can measure the distance traveled, number of steps, calories burned and sleep quality. Also on the screen are visible notifications for calls, messages and reminders received by the smartphone via Bluetooth. The 80 mAh battery lasts up to six days .
The tablet prices are 999 yuan (3GB + 16GB WiFi), 1,299 yuan (3GB + 32GB WiFi) and 1,499 yuan (3GB + 32GB LTE). The smartwatch will be available to 699 yuan. It is not known if and when the two devices will arrive in Europe.
