After the true case born around the Notes 7 defective, the devices were banned on flights. Why Samsung has started offering the possibility to change them also at the airport.
There are reports Samsung would open various exchange points in airports around the world hoping to “intercept” any holders of Notes 7 before boarding because of the ban imposed by many airlines for security reasons.
The exchange points, initially identified at the airport Incheon of South Korea, There are now several major Australian airports as Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast and according to reports Samsung would plan to open the exchange points also at airports in other countries.
This decision was taken following the boarding prohibition of Note 7 imposed by many airlines around the world due to security problems caused by the “explosive” nature of the device.
