Sony RX100 comes to the fifth declension: body super compact, 1-inch sensor and optical bright Zeiss. The look does not change, and indeed precisely exploiting this constancy of the RX100 previous accessories are compatible with the latest arrival: you add the waterproof case that allows you to go down to 40m depth and is backwards.

First impressions: impressive speed

We got to touch the two machines to the European presentation and, far from being able to write a complete test, we can certainly share the first impressions. The new RX100 V has especially surprised us for fast acceleration during the shots made with quick and accurate fire, as well as for the buffer capacity that lasts several seconds, about 14 to the maximum of cadence).

The ability to trace the subject to keep in focus, also in a deliberately non-ideal lighting conditions it was tested leaving us taking pictures to two break dance dancers during their evolution. The same scene we also used to test the super slow motion: video FullHD fluid to one tenth of normal speed.

Another significant release on the ability to freeze the moment is paint jumping with the music : a place speaker in black cloth he was stretched horizontally with the colored paint hopping due to sound vibrations. In this case, shooting at 24 frames per second and silently (you do not hear anything at all), is impressive to see the shooting numbers that proceed fast to the press of the shutter button and release the graph buffer discharge.

It was then increased the volume of the handle to make the safest, most comfortable grip and the rear display has become touch.
