The Korea Herald reports that Samsung is extra care with the safety of the new flagship Galaxy S8 after the setback of the Galaxy Note 7 – a phone that was down completely after a number of batteries caught fire.
The source says that Samsung has sent out emails to managers and employees whose Kontenta is that the leaks may have “irreparable complications, constitute a major financial threat and lead to the destruction of collaborations and loss of confidence.”
The secrecy is said to have been increased to the highest levels so far. Electronics giant has reportedly not told anything at all for subcontractors, in an attempt to reduce the risk of information leaking out prematurely.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be one of the main attractions during the Mobile World Congress in February next year.
