Dell EMC announced at its worldwide event Dell EMC World 2016, held in Austin, US, the launch of Analytic Insights Module, a platform that includes software, hardware and services to create in days environments for analysis of big data and application development in the cloud.

With the new solution, companies can generate insights that can be easily integrated into applications aimed at data intelligence, while ensuring security and corporate governance. The solution enables quick searches, collection and analysis of data stored in the enterprise or in the cloud.

Analytics Insights Module runs on Native Hybrid Cloud and includes Pivotal Cloud Foundry, facilitating the sharing and analysis of data for developers to create applications targeted data.

“The ability to quickly gain insights for analyzing data in native applications in the cloud that are rapidly changing is an essential requirement for corporations manage to gain competitive advantage through the digital transformation,” said Richard Villars, vice president of Data Center and Cloud IDC, adding that the Analytics Insights Module, Dell EMC, will have a critical role to do so.

Also among the releases, the company announced improvements in portfolio solutions for data protection, combining the legacy technologies of Dell and EMC. The announcement included the software update enabled for cloud, in order to help companies of all sizes to protect applications and data in modern data centers.

The new Dell EMC’s data protection portfolio walks includes the appliance to backup Data Domain Virtual Edition 3.0 which brings six times more scalability with the ability to protect up to 96TB in a single device. Moreover, Dell EMC expanded hypervisor support for this new version, allowing it to run as a virtual machine both as VMware vSphere Microsoft Hyper-V.
