By the end of 2016 biometric Sberbank “Ladoshki” the system will start in another 150 schools


Savings Bank announced plans to launch before the end of 2016 a biometric system ” ladoshki “150 educational institutions of Russia, in addition to those already established in the schools of the Moscow region, Ivanovo and Cheboksary, as well as in educational institutions of the Voronezh region. It is a question of the system installation in schools regions such as Novosibirsk and Vologda regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, Ivanovo, as well as in the cities of Troitsk, Vologda, Tyumen, Yaroslavl.

Khimki, where the complete connection system “Ladoshki” in all 33 schools, will become the first city in Russia, where fully implemented biometric ecosystem of school infrastructure.

The biometric system can pay for meals on hand. The system identifies the child on an individual palm vein pattern, and supply payment amount is automatically debited from the account of the parent. With the identification of palm can also be arranged with a passage in the school building.

Sberbank became a finalist for Global Inclusion Awards 2016 international prize in the nomination “The best bank for children and youth.” Prize jury highlighted the progress in implementation of the Savings Bank “Ladoshki” project.

According to a press release of the Savings Bank, Global Inclusion Awards award the achievements and innovations in the field of financial literacy development, socialization, increasing access to financial services and enterprise support for children and youth.
