Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 represents the third generation of the rapid charge technology of San Diego, it is compatible with all USB (from the USB-A to USB-C) and it is the first of this type to employ the Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV), a new algorithm developed by Qualcomm Technologies, designed to allow mobile devices to determine the level of charging required at any time in order to ensure the transfer of optimal energy, while maximizing efficiency. Not surprisingly, with Quick Charge 3.0, the platform becomes more efficient by 38% compared to that run by Quick Charge 2.0, as well as two times faster than Quick Charge 1.0, with a huge energy savings during the charging phases.
For about a year, we learned about the new technology Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 implemented in all those devices (smartphones and tablets) with the latest generation of Qualcomm SoC, but almost no one knows that accessories can also leverage the benefits of charging Quick. And examples of this are those exhibited by Aukey the Global Sources Electronics Fair 2016, a charger army (of all types: wall, car and portable), power bank and portable power supplies, characterized by Qualcomm technology and from what l ‘ Chinese company called AiPower Adaptive charging which has the function of “balancing” the charging of USB devices with a maximum of 2.4A.
In the video and in photographs taken at the booth, you can see a roundup of Aukey AiPower accessories with Quick Charge 3.0, some of which launched on the occasion of the Chinese fair. They come in all types, all capacities and prices, you’re spoiled for choice.
Aukey PB-AY20 is a power bank to 20100 mAh (168 x 61.5 x 21.3 mm) with Type-C USB port and technology Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Through the USB-C, the battery can provide 5V / 3A (output) and 5V / 2.5A (input) while through the USB 3.0 (with QC 3.0) you can reach 3.6-12V / 3-1.25A. Aukey CC-Y1 is instead a car charger that, unlike many other models in circulation, integrates a USB port and a USB Type-C 3.0. Aukey PA-Y7 is instead a wall charger 29W with a Type-C USB to recharge the notebook and an additional module that gives him two USB 3.0 ports in more.
